I'm developing a number of characters and storylines I plan to combine into a series of vignettes. Set against a gritty New York backdrop and inspired by interviews and personal experiences, these stories examine both the depravity and virtue of Gens X and Y. The project is an homage to Jeremy P. Bushnell's Imaginary Year.

It will combine hypertext and print elements to expose a brand new medium - one that showcases the unique multi-dimensional characteristics of the internet, as well as provides the reader with something more 'material' to link to those elements.

Read a sample from this work in progress.

"...I was lost in the catacombs, listening to a struggling violinist playing to synthesized Mozart, noticing handsome older men with tightly trimmed salt and pepper hair waiting to have their shoes shined, trapped in the center of a feeding frenzy..." Read Chosen Moment.

"He came to free the memory's apparition into the wild, never again to be haunted by the guilt or remorse that held it down by the roots." Read Neither Here Nor There.

"In a post modern existence defined by plastic bodies, little purple pills, and Photoshop tweaks, perfection (or at least the appearance of it) is splattered everywhere like life-advertising road kill..." Read Imperfection.

"...Reverting back to what's comfortable, what fits...for the moment we were straining our veins, refusing to be homeless..." Read Boiling Point.
